Middletown 10K & 5K Run/Walk
The Middletown 10K & 5K Run/Walk takes place on April 12, 2026, on the Wesleyan University campus in Middletown, Connecticut. Both events loop around campus; the 5K finishes after a single loop while the 10K completes an additional loop and finishes with a downhill section on Old Church Street.

All finishers receive a short sleeve technical shirt. A post-race gathering is held on Union Green adjacent to the finish area, with pizza provided by Mondo and beer available for participants 21 and older with valid ID; beer is supplied by Eli Cannon's Tap Room.
The event includes an HMF FitKids run with options of a quarter mile or half mile for children ages 2 to 11. Two multi-race challenge series are offered for 5K and 10K participants; each series spans three races with event-specific swag and a commemorative medal for completing the series. The sequence for the challenge series begins in Middletown in April, continues at UConn Health in June, and concludes in Old Wethersfield in August.
Community and charity elements include the HMF Can food donation collection near packet pickup to benefit The Amazing Grace Food Pantry. The event’s beneficiary is the Susie Beris, MD Youth Running Program. The race is produced by the Hartford Marathon Foundation, a non-profit race organizer.
