Event details
The Middletonian 5k is scheduled for Sunday, March 22, 2026. It is the 8th annual running of the event and is a 5k run/walk organized by Brunning Endurance Co. The race begins and ends at the Butler County Warbirds Military History Museum located at Middletown Regional Airport. Packet pickup and race-day registration are held in the museum hangar. Every runner receives a unique finisher award and is entered into door prize drawings at the post-race party inside the museum. Awards include top three overall male and female finishers and age-group awards for the following groups: under 13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
Location, fees and other notes
The event location is 2351 Wedekind Dr, Middletown, OH 45042. A portion of registration fees will be donated to Downtown Middletown, Inc. and to the Middletown Regional Airport. Entry price is listed at $25 and increases after December 31, 2025. A veterans discount of 10% is available with a specified code. Race shirts are available for $10 if pre-ordered by March 6. Due to construction at the airport, participants are asked to use the second entrance gate on Wedekind Dr and park on the grass by the first blue hangar; handicap and volunteer parking is limited to the museum area.
