Middletonian 5k
The Middletonian 5k is the eighth annual 5 kilometer run and walk held in Middletown, Ohio on March 22, 2026. The event is presented with involvement from Brunning Endurance and is staged at the Middletown Regional Airport location.
The race begins and ends at the Butler County Warbirds Military History Museum. The museum hangar is used for packet pickup and race day registration and will be open for participants after the run. Participants who donate to the museum through the event are entered into a drawing for a free airplane ride.
A percentage of registration fees is directed to Downtown Middletown, Inc and to the Middletown Regional Airport. Downtown Middletown, Inc is described as a nonprofit organization focused on revitalizing Historic Downtown Middletown and supporting local activity for residents and visitors.
Every finisher receives a unique award and attendees can enter door prize drawings at the after party inside the museum. Awards include top three overall male and female finishers and top finishers in age groups: under 13, 14 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 plus. A veterans discount code VETERAN10 offers 10 percent off. Race shirts are available for purchase for $10 if preordered by March 6.
Due to construction inside the airport, parking is via a second entrance gate on Wedekind Drive with grass parking by the first blue hangar. Handicap and volunteer parking remain at the museum. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
