Middletonian 5k
The Middletonian 5k is a run and walk event scheduled for Sunday, March 22, 2026. The event is described as the 8th annual edition.
The race starts and finishes at the Butler County Warbirds Military History Museum, which is located at the Middletown Regional Airport. The course takes place on the airport runway. The museum hangar serves as the location for packet pickup and race day registration. It opens early for participants to view after the run.
A percentage of the registration fee supports three local entities: the Middletown Regional Airport, Downtown Middletown, Inc. (a nonprofit focused on downtown revitalization), and the Butler County Warbirds museum. Donations to the museum through the race enter the donor into a drawing for a free airplane ride.
Every runner receives a unique finisher award. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top male and female finishers in various age categories.
Parking for participants is located past the museum, down Wedekind Drive, at a second entrance gate. Volunteers will be present to assist. There is a post-race party with door prizes. The organizer is Brunning Endurance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
