Hamilton Turkey Trot
The Hamilton Turkey Trot is an annual community running event held on Thanksgiving Day in Hamilton, Ohio. The event takes place at Marcum Park, located at 116 Dayton Street. This gathering focuses on supporting local charity partners, including the Main Street Movement and YoungLives.
Participants can choose from several event distances and activities:
- 10K race
- 5K race
- Kids Fun Run
- YoungLives Honor Run
An awards ceremony follows the races to recognize the top three overall male and female finishers in both the 5K and 10K categories. The event also features an after-party and a race expo. For participants with children, the Hamilton Central YMCA provides a Kid Care option during the morning activities.
Registration and packet pickup are available on the morning of the event. The course routes navigate through the local area, supported by the City of Hamilton, the Hamilton Parks Conservancy, and local police and fire departments.
