Middlebury Summer Festival 5K and 1 Mile
The Middlebury Summer Festival 5K and 1 mile races take place on June 27, 2026 on State Street by East Park in Middlebury, Indiana. Proceeds support the Northridge Middle and High School cross country programs. Races are open to multiple age groups and include both a kids fun run and a competitive 1 mile event for older participants.
Electronic timing will be provided by Watt's my timing. Awards are planned for overall top finishers and for age group placings. Course record prize amounts are offered for breaking existing records: a $100 prize for the 5K course record and a $50 prize for the competitive 1 mile course record. Refunds are not available. Shirts are unisex with youth sizes for children.
Online registration is available through race morning. Entry fees listed by event in the organizer information include the following amounts:
- 5K run or walk fifteen dollars
- 1 mile kids run twelve dollars
- 1 mile competitive race twelve dollars
- 1 mile and 5K combo twenty dollars
Age groups for the 5K award categories include 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and older. The 1 mile fun run awards the top five boys and top five girls. Kids age five and under must be accompanied by an adult for the 1 mile kids run.
