Middlebury Summer Festival 5k and 1 mile
The Middlebury Summer Festival 5k and 1 mile is scheduled for June 27, 2026, in Middlebury, Indiana. The event begins on State Street by East Park and includes multiple running events held as part of Middlebury's Annual Summer Festival. Proceeds support Northridge Middle and High School Cross Country programs.
Distances offered:
- 5k run/walk
- 1 mile kids run (12 and under)
- 1 mile competitive race (13 and older)
- Combo entry for 1 mile competitive and 5k
Awards and timing are specified for both races. The 5k will award overall male and female places plus top finishers in age groups; age divisions include 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. The 1 mile fun run and the 1 mile competitive race each have awards for top finishers in their categories. Prize drawings will be held and course-record bonuses are offered: $100 for breaking the 5k course record and $50 for breaking the competitive 1 mile record. Current course record times are listed for reference.
Registration opens January 1, 2026, through Eventlink and online registration is available through race morning. Fees vary by event. Both races will be electronically timed by Watt's my timing. No refunds. Shirts are unisex with youth sizes for kids. Packet pickup will be at East Park. A map of parking spots around town will be posted.
