Middlebury Maple Run
The Middlebury Maple Run is an annual running event in Middlebury, Vermont, held on Sunday, October 18, 2026. The event offers multiple race distances:
- Half marathon
- 10K
- 5K
All courses are USATF certified. Routes include a mix of trail, paved, and dirt roads and offer views of the Green Mountains and the Adirondacks. The event provides on-course music and race pacing services for a range of half marathon goal times (1:40, 1:50, 2:00, 2:15, 2:30 and 2:45); no advance sign up is required for pace groups.
Participants receive a race packet with event swag and a complimentary post-race breakfast. Top finishers receive Vermont maple syrup. Additional event services include free bag check and free parking. Registrants are provided a free 18-week training plan.
The race is managed and operated by the Addison County Independent. Volunteers support event operations, and the organizers expect to welcome more than 400 runners with family and friends, which contributes to local community activity during the event.
