Middlebury Maple Run
The Middlebury Maple Run is a running event held on Sunday, October 18, 2026. It offers multiple official distances for runners and walkers.

All courses are USATF certified. Routes include views of the Green Mountains and the Adirondacks and use a mix of trail, paved, and dirt roads. The event provides a race packet with high-quality swag, a complimentary breakfast after the race, Vermont maple syrup for top finishers, free bag check, and free parking.
The half marathon includes complimentary pacing groups with goal times of 1:40, 1:50, 2:00, 2:15, 2:30 and 2:45. Registrants receive a link to an 18-week training plan. A local trainer leads a coaching program and a family-friendly 5K is offered as a fun run.
The race is managed and operated by the Addison County Independent. Volunteers have supported the event since 2009, and organizers expect to welcome more than 400 participants and their guests, which contributes to local community activity and commerce.
