Vermont Sun Run & Triathlon Series

Overview

The Vermont Sun Run & Triathlon Series is a multi-event race series held around Lake Dunmore, Vermont. The series has been running since 1986 and 2026 marks its 41st year. Organizers report the series has included over 200 events and more than 40,000 participants. The series offers photo and video coverage of events. It supports local youth sports, the Brandon Fire Department, Branbury State Park, and the Lake Dunmore Fern Lake Association’s "Lakes are Alive" campaign.

Branbury Classic : June 28 and August 2, 2026, at Lake Dunmore, Vermont.

• 1.5 mile paddle | 14 mile bike | 3.1 mile run
• Aqua Bike option - 1.5 mile paddle | 14 mile bike
• Branbury admittance: entry fee includes spectator access; additional spectator gate fee applies (adult and child rates), payable by cash only. Dogs are allowed on leash but not on the beach.
