Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend
Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend is a three day event across East Grinstead, Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill in West Sussex. The sequence of town races in 2027 takes place across early May and together form the Mid Sussex Marathon when completed as a series.
Each day features a main race plus shorter events. Distances on offer include:
- 10 Mile
- 10k
- Mile
- Fun Run
- Marathon and Triple Mile combo options
The Mid Sussex Mile is a chip timed event for participants aged 7 years and over. The Fun Run is presented as family friendly and fancy dress is welcome. Routes are described as multi terrain and undulating. Detailed route maps and downloadable GPX files are available for participants.
A virtual marathon option runs from 17 April 2027 until 3 May 2027. Virtual entrants must submit evidence of their results for verification before medals are issued.
Included items and awards noted for entrants comprise bespoke medals, medals for the Mile and Fun Run, trophies and prizes, and a T shirt for the Marathon.
