Course and logistics
The 50K is described as 31 miles completed as six loops of about 5.179 miles on wooded trail. Relay teams may include two to six people, with exchanges after each loop. The start and finish are at the park pavilion behind Rockburn Elementary School. The aid station will be stocked with food and drinks throughout the day. Organizers note that the county Rec & Parks department can require cancellation for weather-related reasons. Late packet pickup begins when the park opens, and an earlier pickup is available on the Friday before the race. No parking is allowed on the grass.
