Mid-Maryland Trail Festival 50k and 50k Relay
The Mid-Maryland Trail Festival is a trail running event at Rockburn Branch Park, 6145 Montgomery Road, Elkridge, MD. The event was postponed from January 31, 2026 to March 7, 2026. Registration closes on February 28.
The course covers 31 miles (50k) as six loops of about 5.179 miles each on wooded trails. The start and finish are at the park pavilion; follow the road behind Rockburn Elementary School to reach the pavilion. Parking on grass is not permitted. Local parks authorities may require cancellation for weather related issues.
An aid station on course is stocked with a variety of food and drinks throughout the event. Relay teams may include two to six people and exchanges can be made after each loop. Participants may choose to complete between one and six loops depending on their plans.
