Mid-Maryland Trail Festival 50k and 50k Relay
The Mid-Maryland Trail Festival is a looped trail race held at Rockburn Branch Park, 6145 Montgomery Rd, Elkridge, MD 21075. The full distance is a 31 miles / 50k route made up of six laps on a wooded trail, with the course starting and finishing at the pavilion reached by following the road behind Rockburn Elementary School. No parking is allowed on the grass. Event operations may be impacted by local Recreation and Parks weather-related decisions.
Participants can run the entire 50k alone or form relay teams. Relay teams may include between two and six runners, with exchanges occurring after each loop. There are also options to complete fewer loops rather than the full distance.

An aid station will be staffed throughout the event with a variety of food and drinks, including pizza and soup from Tino’s. The event has run in winter editions previously and this edition continues that format.
