Michael J. Fox Foundation Boston Run/Walk : October 25, 2026
The Michael J. Fox Foundation hosts a Run/Walk in Boston on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at the Carson Beach Picnic Area on the HarborWalk. The event is part of the Foundation’s Run/Walk Series, which began in 2017 and has raised over $10.1 million while uniting more than 33,800 participants.
The event is family friendly and combines physical activity with community resources and information about Parkinson’s disease. Distances offered include:

Registration categories and fees listed for the event are:
- Kids: $20 (age 3 to 12; children under 3 are free)
- Senior: $30 (age 65 or older)
- Adult: $40
Registered participants receive a race bib and finisher medal. Participants who raise $100 on their personal fundraising page qualify to receive a Run/Walk t-shirt on event day; higher fundraising tiers qualify for additional rewards. Fundraising reward tiers include a baseball hat at $500, a Hydro Flask cooler tote bag at $1,000, a personal lawn sign at $2,500, a team lawn sign at $5,000, and a reserved team tent at $10,000 when fundraising goals are met within the stated timeframe.
One hundred percent of funds raised go directly to Parkinson’s research programs and support the All Grit. No Quit. campaign. Race bib pick-up is scheduled the day before at Backyard Boston Gym, 15 Necco Street, Boston, MA. Free parking is available at the Boston Teachers Union lot at 180 Mt. Vernon Street.
