Miami 100
Miami 100 on September 26, 2026 is an open road ultramarathon covering 100 miles through urban Miami. The route travels on pedestrian paths and sidewalks and passes several Miami neighborhoods, including Wynwood, Miami Beach, Key Biscayne, Calle Ocho, Coconut Grove and Brickell. Runners will encounter vehicular traffic and must follow all pedestrian laws.
The event is organized with a checkpoint system rather than traditional aid stations. Runners receive directional cards with step by step directions to each checkpoint. The first portion of the course map is provided on race morning; additional segments are issued at manned checkpoints placed roughly every 15 to 20 miles. Runners are highly dependent on their crew for support.
Key rules and logistics:
- 100 miles open road urban ultramarathon.
- Miami 130 Challenge adds 30 miles immediately after the 100 mile finish.
- Mandatory crew for runners who have not finished the Miami 100 previously, limited to one vehicle per runner.
- Previously completed runners may opt to run unsupported using drop bags.
- No aid stations, only checkpoints; course map not available in full beforehand.
- Race limited to 50 runners and has a 32 hour course cutoff. Pre race check in and packet pick up occur the day before. All pre race and post race activities take place at Hero Martial Arts in Palmetto Bay.
Registration for 2026 is listed as open. The Miami 130 Challenge carries its own rules and a 40 hour overall cutoff. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
