Promenade 3K Winter Series 2026/2027
Metro Aberdeen Running Club presents the Promenade 3K Winter Series at The Beach Esplanade, Aberdeen. The event is promoted under SAL rules and the course has been measured using a Jones counter.
Races are held on the first Friday of each month from October to March. The scheduled dates for the 2026/2027 series are: 2 October, 6 November, 4 December 2026, 8 January 2027, 5 February and 5 March.
Entry details and series rules are set for individual races. The entry fee is £3 per race and participants must register for each race. Pre-entries only are accepted; no entries are taken on the day. There is a facility to transfer an entry to a substitute competitor by contacting the race director.
Overall series results use accumulated times from three races and series prizes are awarded in various categories. A separate series is organised for juniors under 16. The total number of places for the event is 120. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
