Junior Proms Dash 3K Winter Series 2026/2027
The Junior Proms Dash is a series of youth 3 km races held on the Beach Esplanade in Aberdeen. The series is scheduled across autumn and winter on the following dates: October 9, November 20, December 11, January 15 2027, February 12, and March 19. All profits from the series are designated for the charity Abernecessities.
Entries are open to Primary 5 (age 9) and upwards. Entry is by pre‑entry only and the entry fee is £2 per race; competitors must register for each race. Competitors should retain the same race number for the series; numbers are collected on the day and participants must report to registration at each race to confirm presence.
The course is promoted under SAL rules and was measured with a Jones counter. The start/assembly area is described as 150 metres north of the Beach Leisure Centre on the promenade. Series results are based on accumulated times from three races and series prizes will be awarded in various categories. The organisers offer a facility to transfer an entry to another competitor; organisers must be contacted with full details of the substitute to arrange a change. Results will be posted on the NESAP Facebook group. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
