Metro Aberdeen Proms Junior Proms Dash 3K Winter Series
The event is a junior running series held on the Beach Esplanade in Aberdeen, about 150 metres north of the Beach Leisure Centre on the promenade. The series comprises multiple 3K races on the following dates: October 9, November 20, December 11, January 15 2027, February 12 and March 19.
Entries are open to Primary 5 (age 9) and upwards. The entry fee is £2 per race and entrants must register for each race. Pre-entries only are accepted; no entries are taken on the day. Race numbers are to be collected on the day and the same number should be kept for the series. Participants should report to registration at each race to confirm participation.
Accumulated times from three races will count toward the overall series results. Series prizes are awarded in various categories and are limited to series standings. The event is promoted under SAL rules and the course has been measured using a Jones counter. All profits from the series will go to Abernecessities. The organiser has capped total places at 100.
