Metro Aberdeen Beach 10k
The event is the Beach 10k 2026. It is presented by the Metro Aberdeen Running Club. The race will take place on Friday 19th June 2026 at The Beach Esplanade in Aberdeen.
The course is described as flat and accurate. It takes place on public paths with no roads to cross. The race is fully chip-timed and promoted under Scottish Athletics rules (SAL Licence ES014830).
Entry fees are £18.00 for SAL-registered participants and £20.00 for non-SAL participants. The closing date for entries is lunchtime on 19th June 2026. Pre-entries only are accepted; no entries will be taken on the night.
Race bibs with chips will be issued on the night at Transition Extreme Sports. There is a facility for registered competitors to change their entry details up until the entry closing date.
Prizes will be given to the first three male and female runners, as well as to male and female age category winners. A course record bonus of £200 will be awarded to the first male and first female to break the existing Metro 10k course records (29:38 for men, 35:03 for women).
