Mermaid Run San Francisco
The Mermaid Run San Francisco is a multi-distance running event held at Crissy Field in San Francisco. The event includes in-person races on Sunday, April 25th, 2027, and a virtual option that allows participants to complete a chosen distance from home within a month. Packet pickup is available at a Sports Basement location in Sunnyvale and at Crissy Field on event weekend; there is also an optional paid mail delivery for bib and shirt.

Course notes describe the 10 Mile route as the only distance that crosses the Golden Gate Bridge, offering views of the Bay and Pacific Ocean. The 10K course travels into the Presidio and reaches a Pacific Ocean overlook before returning to Crissy Field. The 5K is on a very flat course. Stroller use is permitted on the 5K and 10K but is not allowed on the 10 Mile route. Aid stations provide water, an electrolyte drink, and snack bars; gel is not served on course due to park rules.
The youth Mermaid Dash includes a medal, finisher necklace, and post race food. Race operations provide a bag drop on race morning and use chip timing for recorded results. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
