San Francisco Women's Run
The San Francisco Women's Run is an in-person event held on Sunday, April 25, 2027, with a separate virtual option offered March 7 to March 14. The event’s start, finish and expo are located on the east side of Crissy Field. The in-person course options run along the waterfront and through the Presidio with views of San Francisco Bay, the Pacific Ocean, and the Golden Gate Bridge.
Distances:
- 5K on a very flat course.
- 10K course climbs into the Presidio toward a Pacific Ocean overlook.
- 10 Mile crosses the Golden Gate Bridge.
- Mermaid Dash youth 1.5 mile dash for children.
Practical details provided by the organizer include packet pickup on Thursday at Sports Basement in Sunnyvale, Saturday at Crissy Field, and a race-morning pickup at Crissy Field. There is an optional Mail My Packet service for a fee; this option is not available within 14 days of the event. A bag drop tent is available; participants must bring their own bag.
The event is cupless; reusable cups are available for purchase or participants may bring their own. Aid stations on course provide water, an electrolyte drink, and bars; gel is not served and gel wrappers should be disposed of at aid stations. Chip timing is used and runners must wear their bibs.
