Meriden Memorial Mile, Meriden CT

The Meriden Memorial Mile is a one mile walk and run held on May 25, 2026, in Meriden, Connecticut, coinciding with the city's Memorial Day parade. The event takes place at Israel Putnam Elementary School, 133 Parker Ave, Meriden, CT 06450. The course is presented as a community event that brings together children and their families, serious runners, and participants taking a neighborhood walk to honor Veterans.

Proceeds benefit local Veterans and support connections between the community and future running and fitness events. Awards include trophies for the top three males and top three females. Medals are awarded to the first male and first female in the following age categories: 15 and under; 16-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and over.

Registration opens March 1, 2026 and closes May 10, 2026. Fee tiers are: before May 11, $20 with $10 for those 18 and under; May 12–24, $25 with $10 for those 18 and under; race day, $30. Veterans and active military members register free; service status is confirmed during registration and student and veteran discounts are applied at checkout.
