Mentor Softball Home Run Hustle
The Mentor Softball Home Run Hustle takes place on October 18, 2026 at Jerome T Osbourne Stadium at Mentor High School, 8600 Munson Rd, Mentor, Ohio. The event includes two course options:
- 5K chip timed
- 1 Mile not timed
Registration opens March 1, 2026. Early bird fees apply prior to October 8: adults pay $35 for either the 5K or the 1 Mile, and participants 18 and under pay $25. Race day registration fees are higher. Mail-in registration must be received by October 14, 2026; checks should be made payable to Hermes Sports and Events and mailed to the event organizer at the provided address.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 15 and under, 16–18, 19–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70 and over. The top three men and women overall will receive signed home plates. Age group winners receive Mentor-branded softballs. Virtual participants are not eligible for awards.
Participants receive an event T-shirt, post race refreshments, and the opportunity to view results at the awards tent via an on-site QR code. Awards are distributed at the awards tent. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
