Event overview
The Mendocino Running Festival is a weekend running and camping event held at Mendocino Woodlands Park, a National Historic Landmark near Mendocino, CA. The festival uses a private group camp within the park and includes live music, community activities, and on-site amenities such as hot showers and a shared dining commons. Registered runners receive a post-race lunch.
Races and course
The event offers the following options:

- Half marathon
- 10K
The race course is a 6-mile loop that runs from the Big River valley to the top valley edge. The loop is mostly single-track trail with about 875 feet of climb and includes log bridge crossings and creek sections. Two aid stations are provided on course. Final results are posted within seven days after the event.
Camping, food and policies
Weekend camping is included via a paid camping fee with three options: tent cabins (shared cots for up to four), space for campers and tow-behinds, or tent/car camping spots. Parking for one vehicle is included with camping; tent cabins may allow up to two vehicles. Weekend food passes covering multiple meals are sold separately; day-only race entries include one lunch.
