Memphis Runs for Autism 5K
The Memphis Runs for Autism 5K is a community running event on August 22, 2026 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church and Holy Rosary School on Park Avenue in Memphis, TN. It benefits The ANGEL Program, a school for children living with autism, and was created by volunteers to raise funds for that program.
Distances offered include:
- 5K
- Fun Run/Walk
- Kids 400 Meter Dash
The ANGEL Program Fund, Inc. is the fundraising arm and is an IRS 501(c)(3) charitable organization; donations are tax deductible. The event pages list a current fundraising total of $2,657.46 toward a $30,000 goal and show 77 participants. Proceeds from the event are directed to underwrite operating expenses such as salaries for teachers and therapists who work with the children, support technology upgrades, and provide scholarships for families affected by autism.
Packet pickup is held at Holy Rosary School the day before the event and again on race day at the same location. The race is presented by CBRE and Raymond James. The event also serves as a memorial to a former Holy Rosary teaching assistant and supporter of The ANGEL Program, with ongoing volunteer and fundraising activity connected to that tribute.
