3.43 For The 343 Run/Walk
This event is a community 3.43 miles run and walk held in Long Beach, NY. Registration is not yet open; past-event information and results are posted online.
Participants receive a finisher medal and a breakfast voucher at Riptides when registered. Bathrooms and showers are available on the boardwalk at Skudin Surf. Live online, text, and email results are provided, and finish line photos and same-day video are available at no extra cost. A personalized bib is offered to entrants who register three weeks in advance.
Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers, to the top three male and female finishers in each age group (14 and under; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80-89; 90+), and to the top three firehouse teams.
Bib pickup is managed by event staff beginning one hour before the event; a bib number is required for pickup. Last-minute registrants within 24 hours receive their bib number by text.
The course begins and ends at Skudin Surf and follows the boardwalk west to New York Avenue, north on New York to Broadway, east on Broadway to Monroe Boulevard, then south on Monroe onto the boardwalk and west back to Skudin Surf.
