Memories Into Miles 3.43 Mile Run/Walk
Memories Into Miles is a community 3.43 mile run/walk held in Long Beach, NY on September 13, 2026. The event honors the 343 FDNY members who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001 and supports the 34.3 Foundation and its Active Duty Member Crisis Fund. The event is held rain or shine and takes place at Skudin Surf and the Boardwalk.
The course starts at Skudin Surf, follows the boardwalk west to New York Avenue, continues north to Broadway, runs east to Monroe Boulevard, returns south onto the boardwalk and finishes back at Skudin Surf. Participants receive a finisher medal and a breakfast voucher at Riptides. Bathrooms and showers are available on the boardwalk.
Additional services include live online, text and email results, free finish line photos, and a personalized bib for registrants who register three weeks in advance. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers, top three in multiple age groups, and top three firehouse teams. Registration fees are non refundable and are applied toward race expenses.
