Memorial 5K Run

The Memorial 5K Run is a mountain running event held on May 24, 2026. It takes place in Big Bear Lake, California, and is held in honor of Memorial Day.

The course is a high-altitude route that starts and finishes at The Village. It goes through Big Bear neighborhoods and features rolling hills and views of the lake and mountains.

Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as winners in several age categories. All ages are welcome to participate, with discounted pricing for participants under 15 and under 5 years old.

Bib pick-up is available on May 22 and 23 at The Yellow Post on Pine Knot Avenue in Big Bear Lake. Discount codes are available for local residents of Big Bear Lake and Big Bear City, and for active and retired military personnel. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
