Memorial 5K Run
The Memorial 5K Run is a high-altitude running event held in Big Bear Lake, California. The race is organized in honor of Memorial Day and takes place in a mountain environment characterized by alpine air and views of the lake and surrounding peaks. The course begins and ends in The Village, navigating through local neighborhoods that feature rolling hills.

The event is open to all ages, with specific age group categories established for competition. These groups include participants aged 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and those 60 and older. Professional race timing is provided for all runners, and the top three overall male and female finishers are eligible for awards.
Registration fees include several participant items, such as a custom race t-shirt and a commemorative finisher item. Bib pick-up is available in the days leading up to the race at a local venue on Pine Knot Avenue. The event also features post-race festivities following the conclusion of the run.
