Purpose and organisers
The event benefits veterans and the Illinois Valley Fuller Center For Housing. It is part of the Peoria Holiday Race Series. Timing and scoring are provided by ShaZam Racing. The fundraiser listed for the Illinois Valley Fuller Center for Housing shows a $1,000 goal.
Registration, packet, and shirts
Registration uses tiered pricing and the first 200 registrants receive a race packet. Children 12 and under are registered at a reduced fee applied automatically at checkout. Shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by May 13; shirts are available while supplies last after that date. Packet pickup is available Friday, 5/23, 11:00am to 6:00pm at RC Outfitters, and on race day at Lower Glen Oak Park from 7:00am to 8:00am. Parking is available at Woodruff Career & Technical Center, 1800 NE Perry Ave, Peoria.
Course and awards
The 5K course starts and finishes along the boulevard in Lower Glen Oak Park. A course map for the 1 Mile will be added soon. Awards for the 5K include overall top 1 male and top 1 female by gun time; overall veteran awards (top 1 male and top 1 female by gun time; double dipping allowed); and age group awards (top 1 male and top 1 female in listed age groups by net time).
