Memorial Day 5K - Dayton
The Memorial Day 5K is hosted by the Dayton Track Club with Can't Stop Timing Company on May 25, 2026, at 2900 Glengarry Dr, Dayton, OH 45420. The event includes a timed 5K running race and a separate untimed kids march.
Distances and options:
- 5K timed running race for general participants.
- Memorial Day "Mini March" free untimed march for children under 12 years.
Registration pricing varies by date: $35 through May 3, $40 from May 4 through May 24, and $45 on race day with shirts not guaranteed. Paid Dayton Track Club members receive a 25% registration discount. A no t-shirt entry option reduces the fee by $5.
Packet pick-up is offered at Runners Plus - South Dayton (Kingsridge location) on May 24 and again on race morning at the event site.
Participant benefits and awards include a $10 gift card to Runners Plus for all 5K participants and a pancake breakfast provided by Chris Cakes of Ohio. Competitive awards cover Top 3 male and female finishers, Top 3 male and female Masters (40+), Top male and female servicemember including active and retired, and Top male and female age-group winners (12 and under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+).
Non-running volunteers receive a Runners Plus gift card and a breakfast ticket; DTC Elite non-running volunteers may count the race toward incentives or receive a gift card. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
