Memorial Day Run - Houston, May 31, 2027
Memorial Day Run takes place on May 31, 2027, at St. Thomas High School, 4500 Memorial Dr., Houston, TX 77007. It is the fifth race in the Houston Holiday Series and honors the men and women who have given their lives serving in the U.S. Military.
The event offers both in-person and virtual race options across several distances. Distances include:
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles) - in-person and virtual options
- 10K - in-person and virtual options
- 5K - in-person and virtual options
- Kids & Family 1K
Entry fees and registration windows differ by category. Many in-person and virtual categories show registration opening on August 14, 2026 and closing on September 15, 2026. Example entry fees listed for standard categories include $95 for the half marathon, $45 for the 10K, $35 for the 5K and virtual 5K, and $15 for the Kids & Family 1K. Some pacer and guide categories have separate registration windows and have no fee by default.
Guide categories are intended for guides to adaptive athletes. Guides are by default not eligible for a bib, shirt, and medal though these items may be added for a fee, and guides are not eligible for awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
