Melrose St. Patrick's Day 5K - Run for the Gold!

The Melrose St. Patrick's Day 5K is a community road race held in Melrose, Massachusetts. The event includes a 5-kilometer course that begins and ends on E. Foster Street next to the Melrose Family YMCA and passes down Lebanon Street and through Pine Banks Park before returning to Main Street. Live bagpipers are scheduled to welcome participants at the finish, and an Irish-themed awards ceremony follows the race.

The event uses chip timing provided by Second Wind Timing. Awards are given to top finishers and post-race refreshments are available. The first 100 registered runners receive an official race t-shirt. Strollers are permitted and children 10 and under are admitted free.

Proceeds benefit the charitable activities of the Melrose Knights of Columbus, supporting local families and community initiatives. Parking is available in municipal parking areas in downtown Melrose. Bib pick-up and in-person registration are offered before the race; race-day registration is available at the event.
