Frosty 5K - Frisco
The Frosty 5K presented by Texas Health Hospital Frisco is a festive community run through Frisco Square and the downtown area on December 5, 2026. The event is a 3.1-mile fun run that serves as a kickoff to the city's Merry Main Street activities and is open to participants of all ages.
Registration is online only, limited to the first 1,200 entries, and carries a $35 entry fee. A $5 late fee applies for day-of registration. No refunds are available for any reason, including cancellation due to inclement weather; if the event is forced to cancel, registrations will be converted to virtual participants.
A portion of each registration benefits Play Frisco's Play Fund, with $5 per race registration providing need-based grants for local residents. All participants receive a long-sleeve shirt (sizes cannot be exchanged) and a finisher medal included in the packet.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age division (9U, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+), as well as overall male/female, masters male/female, and largest team.
Free parking is available in the Page St. garage. Packet pick up takes place at the Frisco Athletic Center, 5828 Nancy Jane Lane, on Dec. 3 and Dec. 4 during posted hours. Dogs are discouraged but may run on leash with up-to-date vaccinations; canine runners start at the rear of the field. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
