Frosty 5K Presented by Texas Health Hospital Frisco
The Frosty 5K presented by Texas Health Hospital Frisco is a festive fun run for all ages that routes through Frisco Square and the downtown area. The event is held at Simpson Plaza and is scheduled for December 5, 2026.
All participants receive a long-sleeve shirt and a finisher medal, which are delivered in the participant packet at packet pick up. Shirt sizes cannot be exchanged.
Awards are given to the top three males and females in each age division (9U, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+), as well as overall male and female, master's male and female, and the largest team.
Packet pick up is at the Frisco Athletic Center, 5828 Nancy Jane Lane, with scheduled times on Wednesday, December 2 and Thursday, December 3; there is no in-person packet pick up on Friday. Free parking is available in the Page St. garage.
A $5 contribution from each race registration benefits Play Frisco's Play Fund, which provides need-based grants to City of Frisco residents for classes, camps, ticketed events, and recreation center memberships.
Registration is limited to the first 1,200 entries and is online only. No refunds will be issued, including for Race Day cancellation due to inclement weather. A $5 late fee applies for day-of registration. In the event of a forced cancellation, registrations will be converted to virtual participation.
Dogs are discouraged but may join owners if leashed and vaccinated; runners with dogs will start at the rear of the pack. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
