About the race
Melbourne Pride Run takes place at the King George V Monument on Linlithgow Avenue in Melbourne, with the nearest tram stop listed as number 17 at the Police Memorial on St Kilda Road. The event marks its tenth year in 2027 and is scheduled for Sunday 14 February 2027.
The course uses The Tan and offers run and walk options. Distances available:
- 7.654 km (two laps of The Tan)
- 3.827 km (one lap of The Tan, running)
- 3.827 km (one lap of The Tan, walking)
Bib collection is available on the morning of the event and at four Melbourne Frontrunners sessions in the days before the event at Princess Park Fitness Station 3, the Pillars of Wisdom at The Tan, Footscray Wharf, and the Melbourne Observatory at The Tan. A bag drop will be provided; participants are advised not to leave items of value. Water stations are located at the Pillars of Wisdom, the top of Anderson Street, and at Pride Run Village, and several water bubblers are around The Tan.
