Megan's Challenge is a community running and walking event taking place in Gayton on 24 May 2026. The event raises monies for QEH West Newton Dementia Ward. It offers both a longer run and a shorter fun run or walk.

The course is described as undulating and multi-terrain. Entrant numbers are limited to 150. The minimum entry age is 6 years; children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the run. Entries close on 23 May 2026.
Entry fees differ for online and on-the-day registration. Online fees are listed as Adult £15 and Child £7 for ages 6 to 15. On-the-day entry is available for Adult £18 and Child £8 and is cash only; no card payments are accepted for on-the-day entry. Race numbers are collected at Gayton Social Club on race day. Parking is available at Gayton Football Field.
Refunds are permitted up to one week before the event. Transfers and deferrals are not permitted.
