Megalodon Weekend
Megalodon Weekend is a two-day running event on March 7–8, 2026, held at the Venice Airport Festival Grounds, 610 Airport Ave East, Venice, FL 34285. The program offers in-person and virtual race options across multiple events.
Events include:
- Megalodon Challenge (Shark's Tooth 10K and Shark Fin 5K)
- Shark's Tooth 10K
- Shark Fin 5K
- Virtual Shark's Tooth 10K
- Virtual Shark Fin 5K
- Virtual Megalodon Challenge
The Megalodon Challenge covers both the Shark's Tooth 10K on Saturday and the Shark Fin 5K on Sunday. Challenge registration includes the race shirt (a No Shirt option reduces the fee by $5) and three medals: the Shark's Tooth 10K Medal, the Shark Fin 5K Medal and the Megalodon Mega Medal.
A Mega Flexible option lets participants designate one event as in-person and the other as virtual. An all-virtual option is available; virtual registrants receive Megalodon swag shipped to the address provided during registration, with shipping fees included. Registrations completed before Monday, February 10 are guaranteed race shirts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
