Medina Turkey Chase 4 Mile & Kid's 1 Mile - City of Medina Public Square
The Medina Turkey Chase is a Thanksgiving Day road race held in uptown Medina on November 26, 2026. The event offers a 4 mile race and a kids 1 mile race held on the same morning. Registrations include electronic chip timing, event shirts, free race photos, and post-race refreshments. The 4 mile registration also includes a high-quality finisher's medal and entry into a Brooks shoe raffle for participants who can beat the turkey.
Race organizers provide pies at the finish line for top finishers rather than a formal awards ceremony. For 2026, the first 100 female finishers and the first 100 male finishers will each receive pies at the finish. Additional recognitions include Top Turkey awards for the first male and female finishers.
The kids race is reserved for participants aged 12 and under. Pricing changes over time with early registration, later pre-race registration, and race day rates noted by the organizer. Proceeds benefit Medina Shop With a Cop and Birthcare of Medina County, local charitable programs that assist families and children in the community.
