Medina Turkey Chase 4 Mile & Kid's 1 Mile
The Medina Turkey Chase is a Thanksgiving morning running event held in Medina's Public Square on 11/26/2026. The 2026 edition is the fifth year for this uptown holiday race and is organized in collaboration with Mid-Ohio Race Management and local race management teams for the Medina Half Marathon and Medina Twin Sizzler.

- 4 mile
- 1 mile kids' race (12 and under)
Registrations include electronic chip timing, an event shirt (size not guaranteed after 10/31), and free race photos uploaded to a photo app. Each finisher receives a high-quality finisher's medal at the finish line. The first 100 female and first 100 male finishers will receive free pies at the finish line, and there are special Top Turkey awards for the first male and female finishers. There is no formal awards ceremony; pies are distributed at the finish.
Entry benefits local charities. Proceeds support Medina Shop With a Cop and Birthcare of Medina County. Shop With a Cop helps underprivileged children shop with a police officer for holiday gifts, with children identified through schools and social service agencies. Organizers note nearly $20,000 has been donated to that program to date.
