2026 Medina July 4th Twin Sizzler Races presented by Westfield
The event is held on Medina Public Square and is presented by Westfield in partnership with the Medina County Senior & Adult Services Twin Sizzler Series. It includes a mix of running and cycling events, with individual chip timing for the running races and MORM race timing services.
Planned event offerings:
- 5k run
- 10k run
- 1 Mile Fun Run
- Kid's Run
- 27 Mile Bike Race
All 5k, 10k and bike participants receive a finisher medal; because of this, age group awards for those events are limited to first-place winners. The bike race uses wave starts and separates awards into an Expert class and age-group awards in the Citizen class; riders must start with the appropriate wave to qualify for an award. There will be no Citizen overall awards.
Course information is available for the 5k and 10k routes. The planned bike route begins at the southwest corner of Medina Square and follows a sequence of local roads through the surrounding area before returning toward West Washington Street near the square; the route is subject to change for race-day construction.
Shirt sizing is subject to a cutoff in late June; registering by June 20 is noted as the best way to guarantee a shirt size. Pre-race packet pickup details will be announced. Recommended parking is the garage behind the Medina County Courthouse, the North Huntington garage, or the County Administration Lot. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
