Medina July 4th Twin Sizzler Races : event overview
The 50th annual Medina July 4th Twin Sizzler Races presented by Westfield take place at Medina Public Square. The event is MORM timed and uses individual chips for running events. Participants receive official Twin Sizzler race T-shirts and finisher medals for the 5k, 10k, and bike events. Because all 5k, 10k, and bike finishers receive medals, age group awards for those events will be limited to first-place winners.
Offered events include:
- 5k run chip-timed with official shirt and finisher medal
- 10k run with official shirt and finisher medal
- 1 Mile Fun Run with official shirt
- Kid's Run
- 27 Mile bike race with official shirt and finisher medal
Course routes are defined for the 5k and 10k, and a planned bike route starts on the southwest corner of Medina Square and finishes on West Washington Street. The planned bike route passes several local roads including South Court/Route 3, Route 162, Kennard, Vandemark, West Smith, Erhart, Branch, and West Liberty/Route 18.
Pre-race packet pickup options will be announced via email and on social media pages. Packet pickup on race day is at the tent across from Second Sole and the public restrooms. Parking options include the garage behind the Medina County Courthouse, the garage on North Huntington, and the County Administration Lot.
