Cross Country on the Farm Trail 5K
This event is a 5K trail race at Agricultural History Farm Park in Derwood, MD, held on June 28. It is presented as part of the MCRRC low-key race series and categorized as a trail and summer race.
MCRRC members may participate without paying the race fee. Members must first obtain a 2026 bib and chip; existing 2025 (or older) chips may be exchanged for the 2026 bib and chip. New members or those without an older chip are asked to provide a $5 chip deposit. Personalized 2026 bibs that have already been requested will be held for the participant at low-key races in 2026.
Non-MCRRC participants may register at a cost of $22 for ages 18 and over and $11.60 for participants under 18; these amounts include registration and processing fees. Online registration remains open through the start of the race. Bib and chip pickup takes place on race morning near the start area, with volunteers available to assist.
The event is staffed by volunteers and relies on volunteer support. For non-members who can no longer attend, registrations may be transferred to another MCRRC low-key race; monetary refunds are not provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
