Going Green Track Meet 2026 - Gaithersburg High School
This is a community track meet held at Gaithersburg High School that includes youth events, one- and two-mile races, and a 4x400 relay. The meet is organized into heats for the two-mile and mile races based on expected finish times.

- 400 m youth run
- 800 m youth run
- Two-mile races with multiple heats by expected finish time
- Mile races with multiple heats by expected finish time
- 4x400 relay for teams of four
Youth runs are not timed with chips; all youth participants must be registered by a parent or guardian before race day. The meet is part of a low-key race series and is free for members of the organizing club who have a 2026 bib and chip; members may exchange an older chip or provide a deposit if needed. Non-members pay a registration fee for entry; online registration remains available through the start of the race and bib and chip pickup occurs on race morning near the start area. Volunteers staff the event and volunteer help is requested. Non-member registrants who cannot attend may request that their registration be moved to another low-key event; monetary refunds are not provided.
