Going Green Track Meet 2026 : Gaithersburg High School
The Going Green Track Meet is a low-key track meet held at Gaithersburg High School in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The program includes youth runs, one mile and two mile races, and a 4x400 relay. Races are run on the track and are organized into heats by expected finish time. The relay is contested by teams of four and teams sign up near the registration area. Youth runs are not timed with chips.

MCRRC members participate in this low-key series without a per-race fee but must obtain a 2026 bib and timing chip in advance; older chips may be exchanged and a deposit may be requested for new chips. Non-members pay a registration fee of $22 for participants 18 and over and $11.60 for participants under 18; these prices include registration and processing fees. Bib and chip pickup takes place on race morning near the start area. Online registration remains open through the start of the race. Volunteers staff the event. Non-members who cannot attend may ask to move their registration to another MCRRC low-key event; monetary refunds are not provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
