The McCoy Flat Death Race takes place on July 18, 2026, at McCoy Flats Trail Head in Vernal, UT 84078. The event uses a repeated-lap format with each lap measuring 4.1 Mi. Monetary prizes are awarded per lap to the final finishers: the last remaining runner receives $50 for every lap completed, second place receives $20 per lap, and third place receives $10 per lap.
