MBNA Chester 10K : 8 March 2026

The MBNA Chester 10K is scheduled for Sunday 8 March 2026. The 2026 edition will be the ninth running of the event and serves as the first race in the Chester Triple Medal series. Entries for the 2026 race are open. The event has an official charity partner, the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, and participants may also run for other charities. Volunteers support the race operations.

Course and race details

The city-based 10K starts on Nuns Road near Chester Racecourse and heads north-west out of the city along wide roads, passing close to the village of Mollington. The route returns to Chester city centre, passes the Victorian town hall and the Medieval Cathedral, and finishes on Eastgate Street with the Eastgate Clock as a backdrop. Course records listed are 29:20 for men (set in 2023) and 33:50 for women (set in 2025). The organiser notes the event typically sells out.
