2027 MBNA Chester 10K - 14 March 2027
The MBNA Chester 10K is a city centre road race held at Chester Racecourse, New Crane Street, Chester CH1 2LY, United Kingdom. The event is the tenth edition of the Chester 10K and is presented as the only city based 10K in Chester. The advertised distance is 10 km and the course passes several of Chester's landmarks, heads north-west out of the city through the village of Mollington and returns to a finish near the Eastgate Clock.
Runners receive a personalised race pack including race number and timing chip sent by post; overseas entrants must collect their race numbers from the Help Desk on race weekend. Pre-race support includes training plans, free training runs and access to an online social community. The organiser lists a fundraising partner with GoFundMe and offers runner to runner transfers.
On race day the event provides a short sleeve technical T-shirt, a bespoke finisher medal, a goody bag with post race nutrition, official race photos and on course hydration. Medical support, a runners Help Desk and live tracking for supporters are available. Prizes are awarded to the top three men and women and winners in each age group. The minimum age on race day is 15. The event is run under UK Athletics rules and the course is measured by the AUKCM.
Entry tiers include early bird, standard and late prices; UKA members receive a £2 discount. A Green Runner option donates the cost of kit to the event charity and does not include a medal, T-shirt or goody bag. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
