MBNA Chester 10K
The MBNA Chester 10K is a city centre road race in Chester, listed for Sunday 14th March 2027. It is the opening event of the Chester Triple Series and is described as the only city-based 10K in Chester.
The course starts on Nuns Road beside Chester Racecourse and heads north-west out of the city along wide roads. It passes close to the village of Mollington, then returns to the heart of Chester city centre, passing the Victorian town hall and the Medieval Cathedral before finishing on Eastgate Street with the Eastgate Clock as a backdrop.
The event records course best times: Men 29:20 (2023) and Women 33:50 (2025). Participants often run for charity, including the official race charity, Hospice of the Good Shepherd, or other personal causes. The event is supported by a large team of volunteers.
