2027 MBNA Chester 10K
The MBNA Chester 10K is a city-based road race held in Chester on 14 March 2027. The race distance is 10 km and the event is organised by Active Leisure Events Ltd with a start and finish located in the city centre at Chester Racecourse, New Crane Street, CH1 2LY.
The course passes several of Chester's landmarks, heads north-west out of the city and goes through the village of Mollington before returning to a finish close to the Eastgate Clock. The event is measured by AUKCM and run under UK Athletics rules. The minimum age on race day is 15.
Pre-race services include access to training plans, free training runs, a personalised race pack with race number and timing chip posted to most runners, and a fundraising partnership with GoFundMe. There is a Green Runner entry option in which the cost of a medal, t-shirt and goody bag is donated to the race charity and the runner will not receive those items.
Race-day provisions listed by the organiser include a short sleeve technical T-shirt, a bespoke finisher medal, a goody bag with post-race nutrition, on-course hydration, medical support, free official race photos, prizes for overall and age-group winners, a runners Help Desk and a live tracking website.
