2027 MBNA Chester 10K
The 2027 MBNA Chester 10K is a city based 10 km road race scheduled for Sunday 14 March 2027 at Chester Racecourse, New Crane Street, Chester. The route starts and finishes in the city centre, runs north west out of the city, passes through the village of Mollington and returns for a finish under the Eastgate Clock. The event is organised under UK Athletics rules and is measured by the AUKCM.
Before race day entrants receive access to training plans, support and advice including free training runs, and a personalised race pack with race number and timing chip sent by post. Runners from outside the United Kingdom need to collect their race numbers from the Help Desk on race weekend. The organiser offers a fundraising partner with GoFundMe and maintains a social community for participant questions. Free runner to runner transfers are available.
On race day entrants receive a short sleeve technical T shirt, a bespoke medal and a goody bag with post race nutrition when they finish, unless they choose the Green Runner entry option in which case those items are not provided and the equivalent cost is donated to the event charity. The event provides on course hydration, medical support, a runners Help Desk, free official photos and live tracking for supporters. The minimum age on race day is 15. UKA affiliated members receive a discount at checkout. Entry places are non refundable and deferrals are not offered, though transfers between runners are permitted.
