Mayberry Half Marathon 10K and 5K
The event takes place on November 7, 2026, in downtown Mount Airy, North Carolina. It offers three road race distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
All finishers in the 5K, 10K and Half Marathon receive a custom finisher's medal. Participants who register by October 25 are guaranteed a long-sleeve dri-fit performance race shirt; shirts are available through race day while supplies last. Youth under 18 register for a single reduced fee.
Courses start in Historic Downtown Mount Airy and proceed onto the Granite City Greenway for a scenic out-and-back on paved trail. The first half mile passes down Main Street followed by a downhill on West Pine Street to the trailhead. The Half Marathon course is certified. There is a three hour time limit for the Half Marathon and the course will not be supported after 11:00 AM.
Packet pickup and in-person registration are at Thirsty Souls Community Brewing, 238 Market Street, with pickups the day before and race morning. Aid stations provide water and Gatorade at multiple mile points on each course. Restrooms are available at the start, finish and on-course locations. Gear check is provided at packet pickup with volunteer delivery to the finish line. Free public parking is available near Main Street and a shuttle runs between the start area and Riverside Park finish.
