Mayberry Half Marathon 10K and 5K, Mount Airy NC
The Mayberry event on November 7, 2026 offers three certified road race distances that start in Historic Downtown Mount Airy and follow the Granite City Greenway. The courses are described as flat and fast with an initial half mile down Main Street and a downhill on West Pine Street before joining a paved out and back greenway.

Registration has tiered fees with early rates through September 27 and standard rates through race day; youth entries under 18 have a single fee. Participants registered by October 25 are guaranteed a long sleeve performance race shirt while supplies last. All finishers in the 5K, 10K and Half Marathon receive a custom finisher medal.
Packet pickup and in-person registration take place at Thirsty Souls Community Brewing in downtown Mount Airy on the day before and the morning of the event. A shuttle will run between the downtown start area and the Riverside Park finish. The half marathon has a three hour time limit; the course will not be supported after that time.
Aid stations provide water and Gatorade at specified mile markers on each course. Toilets are available at the start, finish and at multiple locations along each course. Recovery food and water are offered at the finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
