May the Course be with You 5k
The May the Course be with You 5k is an annual Star Wars themed 5k taking place on May 2, 2026 in Ravenna Park, Seattle. The event encourages themed costumes and props, including lightsabers and character impersonations, and offers themed photo opportunities and backdrops.
The event provides a range of participant items and services: a custom finisher's medal made of wood (Woodles) to reduce metal waste; professional free race photos; a race shirt with guaranteed sizes and availability if updated by 4/13/26; assorted swag while supplies last; and finish line goodies. Shirt exchanges will not be permitted until after the race if sizes are not updated by the stated deadline.
Medals are produced by Ridgeway Woodworks and use reclaimed wood. The organizer states that almost 100 percent of the wood processed in their reclamation stays out of the landfill, including scraps and shavings.
