About the race
May The Course Be With You is a Star Wars-themed charity race held on May 1, 2027 in the parking lot of Lawndale Baptist Church, 3505 Lawndale Drive, Greensboro, NC. The event is presented as part of the Fleet Feet Race Series and supports the community organization Glenwood Together.
Race options include:
- 10K Race
- 5K Race
- Galactic Dash One Mile Walk/Run
Registration details and fees are listed for each race. The published registration period runs from 9/9/2026 through 12/31/2026, and published fees include $45 for the 10K, $35 for the 5K, and $20 for the one-mile event.
On-site offerings noted for the event site include beverages from Wired Cafe Coffee Bus, snacks, and multiple awards and prizes. Costumes are encouraged and a Best Costume prize will be selected by event staff judges. Top finishers receive race prizes.
All proceeds from the event benefit Glenwood Together, a Greensboro community organization that provides after school and summer programs, fresh produce and mobile markets, resources and referrals for families, weekly family dinners during the school year, and friendship and basic-need support for unhoused neighbors.
