Features and charity
Participants are encouraged to wear costumes. Best Costume prizes will be awarded in adult and child divisions with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each division. Race organizers will also award prizes to top finishers. On-site offerings at the start/finish include beverages from Wired Cafe Coffee Bus and snacks.
The event is a charity run. All proceeds benefit Restoration Place Counseling, a nonprofit providing affordable professional Christian counseling for girls and women. The race notes that raising $300 will provide mental health services for one woman for one month at Restoration Place Counseling.
