Maui Marathon : April 26, 2026

The 56th Maui Marathon is scheduled for April 26, 2026 in Kaʻanapali, Lāhainā, Hawaii. The event is presented by The Westin Maui Resort & Spa Kaʻanapali and is organized by the Valley Isle Road Runners. The course for the full marathon, half marathon, 10K and 5K is an out-and-back route on Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) with ocean views along much of the course; the full marathon course is described as flatter and faster.

A Health and Fitness Expo will be held at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa Valley Isle Ballroom on April 24 and April 25, 2026. The event is operating as a cupless event and will use the HydraPak SpeedCup reusable cup at aid stations to reduce single-use cups.

Event logistics and policies published for 2026 include these points: t-shirts will be ordered on March 15, 2026 and sizes are not guaranteed after that date; online registration closes on April 13, 2026; virtual runners will receive a shirt and medal after the event; event insurance is available during online registration; entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable and entries cannot be rolled over to another year.

Discounts are offered for certain club members: Valley Isle Road Runners members receive a 30% discount on full and half marathon entries, and Mid Pacific Road Runners and Big Island Road Runners receive a 20% discount on full or half marathon entries.
