Maui Marathon, 56th Annual
The Maui Marathon is scheduled for April 26, 2026, and returns to West Maui. The event is presented by The Westin Maui Resort & Spa Kaʻanapali and organized by the Valley Isle Road Runners. A separate presentation credit is given to Maui Paradise Properties for the 10k.
The weekend includes a Health and Fitness Expo held at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, Valley Isle Ballroom on Friday and Saturday, April 24 and 25, 2026. Race options listed for the event include the following distances:
- Full Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 10k Run
- 5k Run
- Virtual Runs
Registration status for the full marathon and the half marathon is closed to new entries. The organizers state that the event is capped for safety reasons due to an increase in participant numbers, and that this capping policy is expected to continue.
Aid stations at the event will use the HydraPak SpeedCup as a reusable, collapsible cup to replace single use paper or wax cups. This measure is intended to reduce single use waste on the island.
