Maui Marathon - April 26, 2026
The Maui Marathon event takes place on Sunday, April 26, 2026, in Ka'anapali, Lāhainā, Hawaii. All races start and finish at the Ka'anapali Beach Resort start/finish area, in front of the Outrigger Ka'anapali Beach Resort. The full marathon, half marathon, and 10K use an out-and-back course on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30). The 5K uses the same course as in previous years. The full marathon course is described as flatter and faster and includes ocean views along much of the route.

Event features and logistics
A Health & Fitness Expo is scheduled at the Westin Maui Resort & Spa - Valley Isle Ballroom on Friday and Saturday, April 24-25, 2026. Expo booth space is offered at a rate of $400 per space; complimentary booths are available for Maui small businesses affected by the 2023 fires and for nonprofit organizations. The event will use the HydraPak SpeedCup reusable cup at aid stations to reduce single-use waste.
Event t-shirts are ordered on March 15, 2026; sizes are not guaranteed after that date. Online registration closes on April 13, 2026. Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable; event insurance is available for purchase during online registration only. Club discount programs apply: Valley Isle Road Runners members receive 30% off full and half marathon entries; Mid Pacific Road Runners and Big Island Road Runners receive 20% off full or half marathon entries.
