Event overview
The 56th Maui Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, April 26, 2026, in Ka'anapali, Lāhainā, Hawaii. All races start and finish in front of the Outrigger Ka'anapali Beach Resort. The full, half, 10K and 5K courses use an out-and-back route on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30). The full marathon course is described as flatter and faster, with ocean views along much of the route. The event is presented by the Valley Isle Road Runners and The Westin Maui Resort & Spa Kaʻanapali.

Logistics and policies
Event t-shirts will be ordered on March 15, 2026; availability and correct sizes are not guaranteed after that date. Online registration closes at midnight on April 13, 2026. Virtual runners will receive a shirt and medal after the event. Event insurance may be purchased during online registration but not after registration is complete. Entry fees are non-refundable, non-transferable, and entries may not be rolled over to another year.

A Health & Fitness Expo will take place at the Westin Maui Resort & Spa - Valley Isle Ballroom on April 24-25, 2026. Exhibit booth spaces are $400 each on a first-come, first-served basis; complimentary booths are available for Maui small businesses impacted by the 2023 fires and for nonprofit organizations.
