About the race
The MV Winter Classic and Amity Relay take place on March 6, 2027 in Vineyard Haven, Massachusetts, at 1 Water Street. The event offers two 20 mile options:
- 20 Miles MV Classic
- 20 Miles Amity Island Relay
Registration opens September 25, 2026 at 18:00 and closes November 19, 2026 at 23:59. The registration fee is $85.00 for the MV Classic and $80.00 for the Amity Island Relay. The relay format divides the 20 miles so each runner completes 10 miles.
The course is USATF certified. Proceeds from registration fees will be distributed among several Island youth programs to help offset operating costs. Local organizations, youth groups, and sports teams support the event through volunteering and receive a share of event proceeds in return.
Each registered runner receives a long sleeve shirt (guaranteed for the first 300 runners), a pint glass, and a finisher's medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
