MV Winter Classic 20 Miler and Amity Relay
The MV Winter Classic 20 Miler and Amity Relay takes place in Vineyard Haven, Massachusetts. This running event features a 20-mile distance on a USATF certified course designed for speed. Participants can choose to complete the full distance individually or participate as a two-person team in the Amity Island Relay.
The following distances are available:
- 20 Miles (Individual)
- 20 Miles (Two-person relay, each runner completes 10 miles)
Participants receive several items as part of their registration, including a finisher's medal and a pint glass. A long-sleeve shirt is also provided to the first 300 runners who register.
The event proceeds benefit several youth programs on the island. Local youth organizations and sports teams provide the volunteer power for the race, assisting with event operations and supporting runners along the route. In exchange for their volunteer efforts, these participating organizations receive a share of the proceeds to help cover their operational costs.
