Martian Invasion of Races - Dearborn, MI
Martian Invasion of Races is scheduled for April 11, 2026 in Dearborn, Michigan. The event uses Ford Field Park as the start and finish location at 500 Monroe, Dearborn, MI 48124 and offers multiple race distances for adults and youth.
Race distances include:
- 5K
- 10K
- 13.1M (half marathon)
- 26K
- 26.2M (full marathon)
The courses are described as wide, traffic free, beautiful and lightly rolling. The full marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifying course. Course maps, elevation profiles and downloadable GPX files are available for participants to review. A flood course for the half and full distances will be used if Hines Drive is flooded.
The half marathon has a 4.75 hour time limit. The marathon has a 6.5 hour time limit and includes an intermediate cutoff at mile 12.8; runners who do not meet the cutoff may be directed to the finish and scored as half marathon finishers.
Aid stations are provided approximately every two miles and include Absopure water, Gatorade and energy gels. Portable restrooms are located roughly every five miles on course.
Packet pickup and late registration take place at Ford Field Park on the day before and on race day. A kids' marathon of 1.2 miles runs in color-coded waves: white, blue, orange and green. Post-race offerings include food and a Martian Retail Shop. Finisher medals are awarded to all finishers.
