Event overview
The Martello Half Marathon takes place in Seaford, East Sussex, on 19 April 2026. The event is a Half Marathon held on an undulating trail course that combines the Seaford seafront with sections across the South Downs. It is organised jointly by Rotary Martello Seaford and Seaford Striders Running Club. Entry is open to people aged 17 and over. Entry fees are listed between £28 and £30, with an on-the-day fee of £30 subject to availability.
Course, logistics and services
Detailed route maps and GPX files are available from the organiser. There is a cut-off requirement: entrants must reach the first water station, at approximately 4 miles, within one hour. Registration, number collection and bag storage are located at Seaford Rugby Club in the Salts Recreation Ground. Toilet facilities are available at the Salts Recreation Ground and additional external toilets have been arranged. There is free seafront parking (subject to capacity) and nearby pay-and-display parking on Richmond Road. Seaford railway station and local bus stops are about a five minute walk from the race location. The event provides water stations, a bespoke medal and free photos after the race. Any surplus after event expenses in 2026 will be split equally between Rockinghorse Children’s Charity, St Wilfrid’s Hospice (Eastbourne) and Rotary Martello Seaford.
