Marquette County Fair Fun Run
The 4th Annual Marquette County Fair Fun Run takes place on August 15, 2026 at the Marquette County Fairgrounds, 715 M-553, Gwinn, MI 49841. The event is a community run and walk held on the fairgrounds with the starting line located in front of the Go-Kart Tracks.
The course is approximately 1.5 miles and is described as a run/walk. Prizes will be awarded to the first place male and first place female finishers.
A barnyard-themed costume contest is part of the event and is held before the run. Categories and awards include Best Adult Costume, which receives a Marquette County Date Night Basket valued at $300 or more, and Best Kids Costume, which receives a one-year Fluffle Membership to the Upper Peninsula Children's Museum covering two adults and all children in the household.
