Event overview
Maroondah Dam Trail Run takes place on Sunday 19 April 2026 and is the first race in the Trailsplus Mountain Series. Distances offered on the day are:

- 21 km
- 30 km
- 42 km
- 50 km
Participants can enter this single race or enter the full Mountain Series and receive a series discount. Marysville has been added to the Mountain Series.
Location and logistics
The event is based at Maroondah Reservoir Park in the Yarra Ranges National Park, with entrance from the Maroondah Highway about 3 km east of Healesville. The park contains gardens, stands of native and exotic trees, native animals and birds, walking tracks, a playground and lawns.
Course maps and downloadable GPX and CRS files are provided for each distance, and an event guide PDF is available for participants. Check-in and the pre-race briefing are compulsory. Race-day registration and merchandise purchase are available during check-in, but on-day entries incur an extra administration fee. Prices listed include GST and Humanitix ticketing fees apply at checkout. Trailsplus donates $1 per participant to Canteen; in 2025 the event had 165 competitors and the total donation from that event was $245.
