About the race
Salomon Warburton Trail Fest 2027 is a three-day trail running festival held in Warburton, Victoria at 3455-3457 Warburton Hwy. The program combines single-day races and multi-day entry options across varied trail distances and event types, plus supplementary festival activities.
Race options include:
- 50 km ultra (Lumberjack Run)
- 27 km Redwoods Rush
- 22 km Donna Double (Golden Trail National Series)
- 14 km Sawmill Grove
- 8 km Little Joe’s Night Terror (night run)
- 4.5 km River Rapid Run
- 3 km Lilo Derby
- Three Thong Thang (novelty thong race)
Two multi-day packages are offered: Multiday Madness (50 km + 22 km + 8 km night + lilo derby, total ~80 km) and the new Multiday Magic (27 km + 14 km + 8 km night + lilo derby, total ~52 km). The festival schedule also includes a night run, a film screening, seminars, and informal events such as a lilo derby.
Accommodation in Warburton is limited over the March Labour Day long weekend; the organisers list local options and an on-site fundraising campsite at Warburton Primary School. The event has a refund policy: refunds (less an administration fee) are available only before midnight 6 February; after that date refunds and transfers to future events are not offered, though entries may be transferred to another person.
