About the race
Salomon Warburton Trail Fest 2027 is a three-day trail running festival held in Warburton, Victoria at 3455-3457 Warburton Highway. The program offers multiple single-day races and multiday combinations that mix trail distances, a night run, and novelty events.
Available race distances include:
- 50 km ultra (Lumberjack Run)
- 27 km Redwoods Rush (half marathon)
- 22 km Donna Double (part of the Golden Trail National Series)
- 14 km Sawmill Grove
- 8 km Little Joe’s night run
- 4.5 km River Rapid Run
- 3 km Lilo Dash 'n Derby
There are two multiday options: Multiday Madness combining the longer events into about 80 km across three days, and Multiday Magic combining shorter multiday entries for about 52 km. A night run, a lilo derby, a thong race, film screening, and seminars are part of the festival program. The organiser notes limited local accommodation during the March long weekend and offers a fundraising campsite at Warburton Primary School. A refund policy applies: refunds (less an admin fee) are available only before midnight 6 February; after that date refunds and transfers to future events are not offered, though entries can be transferred to another person.
