Salomon Warburton Trail Fest 2026
Salomon Warburton Trail Fest 2026 is a three-day trail running festival in Warburton, Victoria held across the March long weekend from 7 to 9 March 2026. The programme combines single-day races, night running and multiday entry options, plus non-running activities and fundraising.
The event lineup includes a range of trail distances and formats:
- 50 km Lumberjack Run ultra
- 27 km Redwoods Rush half marathon
- 22 km Donna Double part of the Golden Trail National Series
- 14 km Sawmill Grove
- 8 km Little Joe’s Night Terror night run
- 3 km Lilo Derby and several 4.5 km river rapid runs
- Three Thong Thang novelty event
Two multiday packages aggregate race distances across the weekend. Multiday Madness combines multiple headline events for an 80 km total. Multiday Magic combines shorter day distances for a 52 km total.
Additional festival features include a film screening, seminars and a mix of on- and off-trail activities. Fundraising activity has supported Great Forest National Park with $849.17 raised. Accommodation in Warburton is limited over the March Labour Day long weekend; an organiser-run campsite at Warburton Primary School is offered on the school sports oval. The Alpine Retreat Hotel is noted as the night run venue finish.
The organiser’s refund policy states refunds less an administration fee are available only prior to midnight 6 February. After that date refunds and transfers to future events are not offered, but entries may be transferred to another person.
