Marlette 50K and 10 Miler

These trail events are based at Spooner Lake in Lake Tahoe, Nevada State Park. Routes follow Sierra single-track trails and provide wide panorama views of Lake Tahoe, the Carson Valley, and the surrounding range. Marlette Lake lies in the middle of the 50K course; participants may enter the lake to cool off during the event.

Distances:

• Marlette 50K: 30 miles of Sierra single-track with panoramic Lake Tahoe and Carson Valley views
• Marlette 10 Miler: Starts at Spooner Lake, round trip to Marlette Lake and back

Both courses use the same trail network around Spooner Lake and Marlette Lake, featuring extended single-track sections and 360-degree vistas. The 50K route crosses terrain that places Marlette Lake near the midpoint of the course, while the 10 Miler is a direct out-and-back linking Spooner Lake with Marlette Lake.
