Carson Valley Turkey Trot Fun Run
The event is the 10th Annual Carson Valley Turkey Trot held on November 26, 2026 at Minden Park in downtown Minden, Nevada. It includes an in-person 5K fun run through the neighborhood, a children's Turkey Dash for ages 12 and under, and a virtual 5K option that can be completed between November 1 and November 28.
Each in-person participant receives a swag bag, t-shirt, race bib, medal, and a Turkey Trot flair while supplies last. Swag bags are available for pickup at The Food Closet during the week prior to the event; to guarantee shirt size, pick up the swag bag the week before the race. Virtual participants may pick up swag at The Food Closet between November 18 and November 26. If the in-person race is full, same day registration will be available.
The in-person 5K allows dogs on leash and children in strollers. Bikes, scooters, and similar modes of transportation are not permitted on the course. Registration fees are listed for each event and registration opens August 31, 2026 with specific close dates for each race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
