Market Harborough Half Marathon
The Market Harborough Half Marathon is a road race of 13.1 miles run on closed roads through the countryside around Market Harborough. Race headquarters, start and finish are at the Market Harborough Showground, Airfield Business Park, Harrison Rd, Market Harborough, Leicestershire, LE16 7UL.
The course is officially measured (Certificate #25/532) and the event is run under UKA rules (Licence #30454). Competitors should be confident of completing the distance within three hours, which is the stated race cut off. Headphones are not permitted except the bone conductor type. On-course support includes four water stations positioned at miles 3, 6, 9 and 12.
Prizes include trophies for the top three male and female finishers. All finishers receive a specially commissioned Snap Fitness Market Harborough Half Marathon medal. Entries and transfer of entries close seven days before the event; the entry fee is listed as £35. Race numbers are not posted and must be collected either at registration on race day or at pre-event registration evenings held the week before the race.
An Event Village at the Showground will feature live music and food and drink stalls. Free digital race photos are provided after the event.
