Market Harborough Half Marathon
The Market Harborough Half Marathon is a 13.1 miles road race that follows a UKA-licensed, officially measured course (Certificate #25/532, Licence #30454). The event is based at the Market Harborough Showground, Airfield Business Park, Harrison Rd, Market Harborough, LE16 7UL, with the race start and finish at the Showground.
The course runs on closed roads through the countryside surrounding the town. On-course support includes four water stations positioned at miles 3, 6, 9 and 12. A three hour cut-off is in place; runners should be confident of completing the distance within that time.
Event facilities at the Showground include an Event Village with live music and food and drink stalls. Parking is available at the Showground for participants and spectators; car park marshals direct vehicles on arrival.
Prizes include trophies for the top three male and female finishers, and a specially commissioned finisher medal is provided to all finishers. Race numbers are not posted out; they can be collected at registration on race day or at pre-event registration evenings held the week before the race. Free digital race photographs will be available to download after the event.
