Market Drayton 10k 2027
Market Drayton 10k takes place on 9 May 2027 in Market Drayton, Staffordshire, with racing on Newcastle Road and event facilities centred on Grove School playing field. Distances offered include:

The 10k route starts at Grove School playing field and uses local streets around the town. Most of the course is mostly flat with a few uphill sections after about 8 km that return toward the school field. A water station is provided at approximately 4.5 km. Local spectators are expected to line parts of the route.
Entries include chip timing and finisher items for the 10k such as a medal and a T shirt. Fun runners receive trophies, goodie bags and medals. Event facilities listed on site include toilets, catering stalls, a complimentary bag drop located in the Market Drayton Scouts marquee, and race packs which can be collected on the day or posted in advance for an extra cost. Bag collection requires presentation of the matching race number and unclaimed lost property may be disposed of after six weeks.
Practical information notes limited parking at Grove School within the road closure area and additional public parking signposted in the town. A complimentary Park and Ride operates from Barbers Auction Market with coach transfers to the event; that car park is not affected by the road closures.
