Mariners Bethel 6.2m Trail Run : 23rd Annual
The Mariners Bethel Trail Run is scheduled for October 18, 2026 at Camp Barnes in Frankford, Delaware. The event is produced by Seashore Strider Event Production, Inc. The course begins and ends on camp grounds and follows scenic trails and roads through the Assawoman Wildlife Refuge; the route is described as flat and fast.
Event options include:
- 6.2 miles Trail Run (10K)
- 3.1 miles Trail Run (5K)
- 1 mile Family Walk
- 2 mile Family Walk
- 3 mile Family Walk
- Kiddie Color Run for ages 12 and under
- Lunch meal ticket option
Timing will use the Chronotrack B Chip system. Awards include overall male and female champions, overall masters (40+) and top three finishers in ten year age groups; starting in 2026 medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age group. Custom T-shirts, awards, live bluegrass music, and a post-race meal are listed among the event amenities. The post-race meal is served by the Mariners Bethel community and includes soups, tamales, hot dogs, sandwiches, Caesar salad, fresh fruit and desserts.
Pre-registration fees listed are $35 for the 6.2 and 3.1 mile runs, $25 for the family walks, and $10 for the Kiddie Run; race-day prices are higher. Proceeds benefit the children and youth ministries of Mariners Bethel. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
