Participation Details
The event is open to runners aged 14 years or older. Participants are required to maintain a minimum pace of 17:30 minutes per mile. Registered runners receive a technical participant shirt and a finisher medal. Military registration is available for active duty and reservists at a fixed rate.
Challenges and Multi-Event Series
The weekend features additional participation options, such as the Esprit de Corps Challenge, which combines a 3.1-mile run on Saturday with the half marathon on Sunday. Finishers of this challenge receive an exclusive medal in addition to individual event medals.
The event is also part of the Semper Fidelis Challenge, a bundle that includes the Marine Corps Marathon in October. Furthermore, it serves as the second tier of the Distinguished Participant series, which requires completion of five specific events throughout the calendar year, ranging from a 17.75K to a 10K turkey trot.
